I saw here on the site somewhere somebody had a set of I think make out of wood 20mm AA single guns. If I am not mistaken they were being made for a carrier escort? They looked like pop outs and were flat sided. I want to get these for the NC I am working on and out fit my Missouri with them.

Awww crap. I would have purchased a couple of sets from him if he was inclined to sell them.

    Thanks Nick.

of course, I can't find the post now. I would PM him, he could probably get a batch run off for you if you really wanted, though it might cost a little more if he doesnt have a larger order to put through at the same time.

Yes, that was my stuff, the post is in my Bogue carrier thread. The problem is that they all break off at the top of the pedestal. Every single one that I have seen on a ship has ended up broken. I am trying something new with my Gridley... instead of just gluing on a straight barrel, I've put a 90 degree bend in it so that the wire reinforces the base as well as acts as the barrel. if it works outs, I can get some more sheets of the 20mm cut.

That would be great. I was impressed by the sheets of these and realized this would help me with the NC I am working on and the Iowa. Let me know how much the sheets are and I will get these from you.
