Nothing personal Getty ..but freinds do not let freinds use AOL.....I Game online and a clean connection is very important...I use broadband, still if AOL does not overrun my os with data miners and the such i will see about setting up an account...Respectfully Raymond G. Bisson

MSN messenger is free, too. All of ou repent and run Linux! GAIM is a free IM program that does multiple IM types (aol, msn, irc, etc...)

REPENT, that your computers may be saved!

my Aim account is GUPhysicsninja (modified aim to remove advertising). I have MSN messenger but I have found that it interferes with some controller software/hardware so I generally forget to turn it on...

If you ever want to chat, just IM me...

you can use gaim in winblows as well, that's what I am running at this very moment.

Why windows? I like playing games too...far more then I like the power of a UNIX command line.

And Also Has anyone used Ventrilo or Team Speak....Voice commo ..we use it to coordinate Gameplay with Teammates online in game
can also be used to coordinate things smoother on line ...better than playing phone tag ...and it is free
I have access to a dedicated ventrilo server with UBER bandwith..trust me better than a confrence call....multiple users all communicating realtime...multiple channels...no lag

yeah, I have used Ventrilo and Team Speak as well for gaming. All things being equal though, I prefer to play music while I game rather then use headphones and voice chat.

    Good Mike

LOL I keep windoze on my 64-bit machine for gaming... My other desktops and laptop run various flavors of Linux (ubuntu, xubuntu, and Debian). For ship control, I'll be running Debian.
