    Hello Buddy,
Am I correct that you are building 1/144? Also what version of the Arkansas are you building
early, mid, or late? Looking forward to seeing pictures.

    RE: Wyoming class BB River,
Am I mistaken in thinking that you built her in 1/72?
Or am I having an "academic moment"?

    Hello,
Yes, my Wyoming is 1/72 scale If you check my profile under my fleet I have
three pictures of my Wyoming with one cage mast. I have not finished my 1944 Arkansas yet.
My attention this winter has been on getting everything together for our first 1/24 scale
    manned combat ship build.

It is not all that much bigger than a WW2 1/72 scale fleet carrier. Our first is the Battleship is the Iowa BB4. We have two Minn Kota 65 trolling motors for power.

RE: Wyoming class BB Hi Guys
First off I am building the last version in 1/144 scale. I am building one for Gordon Gregson in arkansas and thought while I was at it if some one else wanted one I could cut 2 at the same time. It will be a wood hull with a plywood bottom reenforced with 2.5 oz fiberglass. I use a double keel system in the middle that also makes for a buiilt in water channel. Al wood ribs and subdeck and main deck are coated in marine grade polyurathane.WOW 24 scale where are you doing this I would like to check it out! I always wanted to build the Oregon BB.

RE: Wyoming class BB And I'll be taking delivery of one. Because clearly I don't have a big enough fleet.

RE: Wyoming class BB Agreed. One can never have a big enough fleet. Not that I have a vested interest in that comment or anything. =]
