Does anyone out there happen to have a set of plans or detail drawings for the Yamashiro? I'm tackling the superstructure for my Fuso II and I'd like to actually do it up as the Yamashiro which had a different (although still crazy-tall) main bridge pagoda. Any help would be awesome!

Yamashiro's pagoda was actually taller then Fuso's.

While not drawings, this site has some pictures of someone's Yamashiro Pagoda which are pretty detailed.

I know a guy who built a Yamashiro and I'm pretty sure he has plans.

Perhaps you could point me in his directions, and/or point him in mine?

He's no longer active in the hobby, but I'll see if I can get any info out of him.

Cool, lemme know. I'm just working on internals so its not a huge rush, but I would very much like this to be my nats boat in July.

My friend who built a Yamashiro said he didn't realize it and the Fuso had slightly different superstructures. He got his plans from this book:

The Battleship Fuso : Anatomy of the Ship Series

So I don't think he has anything to help you, unfortunately.

Alright, thanks for trying for me. I'll just go with another Fuso then. All the same under the deck so Imight build a different SS in the future then.

The AotS Fuso book is hard to get, unless they've made another print run in the last few months. Used ones on Amazon are rediculous.
