North Carolina in all of her glory. Hijacked planes from the USS Missouri. The model is showing her Main turrets, secondary and catupult display. The turrets are able to rotate so mechanisms to conduct this will be installed . The barrels independently elevate. The Crane can rotate as well. This model is the only one in my fleet that has a ESC. With the success of the ESC upgrades are scheduled for Yamato and Missouri and future projects. Bismarck will remain without the ESC.

Thanks. She was to be armed with BB cannons but the client decided against it 3/4 way into the build. Everything else is there inside for combat. The client gave the model to me. This one is my best build yet.

I agree that it is your best build yet. I don't think I've ever seen a more beautiful model warship, afloat or on a mantle!

I'm not kidding, museum quality!

I try to pretty up the combat boats. Most people have a perception that they can't be made to look like scale models but that is slowly changing.

The thing is It doesn't cost me 6000.00 to make it look scale.

Three years ago I went to the Mariners' Museum. They had an impressive model ship collection that the North Carolina you built would fit right in!

Your welcome! I really meant it! The Mariners Museum is awesome, at least when it isn't a torrential downpour. They have a lot of the USS Monitor (pieces of the shipwreck) down there. They even have the turret! They also have a huge scale model of the Monitor that you can walk on.
