      This photo is from Cannats on Sept. 7-8, 2002, the only occasion when a Kirishima (from the OAF) was present. The other ships (clockwise) are Warspite, Lutzow and Invincible.

      The ship to the right of WARSPITE behind her is the IJN NAGATO of Tom Cromwell. That was a used ship which was refitted for Nabs.

      Curt, if you look closely I think it's the Kirishima that came to Canants that year with an OAF member. The superstructure is less massive than Nagato's and I can see some casemates amidships.

      The ships in the photo match those in Warspite's logbook for that date (including Kirishima) - Nagato wasn't listed as battling at that Cannats and I don't think Tom ever battled the rotting wooden Nagato he bough from the Chesapeake Bay area. His later fiberglass hulled Nagato did very well.
