I also tested this little boat Saturday. Eight 1/4" guns and it ran great with a very tight turn radius (about 20') not bad for an 11'-6" ship. It needs a little more ballast maybe 50 pounds.
Its the best I have for now. I am loading the 120 pounds of concrete blocks and 30 pounds of steel weights(I forgot the other 50 of steel).
With that much weight, I'd be looking to add ballast tanks that fill with water. That's already at the pond and can stay at the pond. No carrying heavy weights around...
I need a trailer but for now it sticks out of the truck. It does break into two pieces and is really two independent ships bolted together and could be run by two people with ease. It will only play at a couple events a year.
I have 1/72 boats collecting dust and they need a good or bad home that is not mine. I would be willing to make a great package deal if you pick them up.
How do you even fight that monster? who do you even fight? Do you just trade broadsides at knife-fighting range until somebody finally dies? What ruleset is this for!?
No one knows I did not get a chance to fight it before quiting. It has great guns and it would hurt a DD at 100' based on the single sortie fought by my Lutzow.
very nice but no thank's, I want to see how hard it is to build it my self. My room is only 3 metre in length
When they figure out how to recover a sunken ship from 5' of water I guess they will come up with a rule-set. I guess they should wait to have a few battling members to discuss rules
