Results of 14JUN14 battle at Potters Rd, Saranac, MI.
A perfect weather day. Earlier in the week Kas installed his launching dock. Eight feet wide, four feet out into the water. It is very sturdy. It easily accommodated side by side launching. The attached photos were taken at 3:30pm. Notice how calm the water is.

    Kas — Invincible
    Skylar--- Graf Spee

Skylar used my Graf Spee. The three of us battled free for all. Skylar caught on very quickly. The first sortie was rather long. I reloaded Graf Spee to give Skylar more practice. After lunch I helped Kas experiment with different gear ratios. His goal was to lower the speed to 35 seconds so he can battle with the Treaty guys. I patched Graf Spee only. With Invincible back at 26 seconds the three of us did another sortie.
We are moving ahead with our plan to host a two day event on Labor Day weekend. It will be a non-sanctioned event. A good chance for all captains to check out our new pond.
    AM battle
    Mark 32+5+6 = 745
    Kas no score
    Skylar 26+2+10 = 810 morning. 22+2+1 = 320 afternoon.
