I picked up a 16 gram adapter at Palmers Pursuits today and it fits very well on my Strike Models' set regulator. ($16.00 and very small and lightweight.) Besides Ebay, anybody know a good place online to buy some. They aren't cheap at the bicycle stores at about $1.60 each! Or is that the standard price?
    Thanks,
    Steve

How many shots is a 16g cartridge good for? Could it handle 125 rounds?

I get 60ish from the Emden's palmer rock the boat turned to 130psi, it varies a bit but I've never gotten less than 50 or more than 70.

The 16g capsules are easily found at bike stores but are not cheap there. Try a warehouse sports place for a better price.

    Question for Tug:
Do you know what size capsule this adapter takes? It has a 1/2" opening. see picture.
    Thanks, Ship Crazy[IMG]

It looks like the adapter used for an 88 gram disposable CO2 cartridge. The threads on the cartridge are 5/8" which gives an internal diameter of just over 1/2".

There are 1/2" x 20tpi (maybe 24tpi) threaded cartridges as well. I believe they are more often used in industrial type applications.

The 88 gram cartridges are available at walmart at two for $12. That might save you shipping costs and if you don't puncture the seal, you should be able to return them if they are the wrong size.
