As far as the corrosion a little corrosion x cleaned off my connectors and they worked fine all week. Wade uses it at his pond as well so those that go to the Brouhaha have had experience with it. I remember once my entire receiver had green pins but sprayed with corrosion x and it came right off.

I have the same wiring after 2 brouhaha's and 1 nats in the copper sulfate so I will watch it closely to see if I have any other problems.

I had dielectric grease on my connectors- no problems.

    Thanks for a great event.

Can you provide a summary of how the Vanguards performed in competition? I've got a Vanguard hull and a Nelson hull, each with fiberglass decks moulded and turrets bought and am trying to decide which one to build first.

By all accounts, they were quite impressive, and turned better than I would've expected, having had one of my own in the past.

I've just watched the videos of the 2013 MWC Nats and the two Vanguards seemed to be very effective. They turned much better than expected (likely due to the transom stern) and the 3 sets of dual cannons were impressive. I wasn't even considering dual stern cannons for mine because I didn't think Vanguard would turn that well. The freeboard is lower than what I expected my hull (now Strike's) would have at combat weight and they're both trimmed slightly aft.
Looks like I'll be building Vanguard before the Rodney.
