    latest update:
a new feature of Nats - the official ammo sponsor.
( i love innovation , especially when it means trying new toys... I mean useful products )

As they say, and now for something completely new. Stephen Morgret at Strike Model has donated a large quantity of his new precision ball bearing ammo to be the official ammo sponsor of the IR/CWCC Nats. i have in my possession a 20 kilo box - and boy was the Postal delivery guy not happy, made me get it out of his van, heh, heh - so each competitor will receive a box of ammo with their registration package. Let's have fun with this stuff!!

The product was developed to obtain a supply that is made to maximize uniformity and the samples I have miked are 0.172" with no variance I can detect. This should reduce the chance of jamming and this size works in all guns he has tested. As a side note, the bearings are not plated with anything considered by the EPA to be a heavy metal and are safe and legal in all states - gotta love the ecoterrorists. They are Audubon Society approved and safe/legal for federal waterfowl hunting. Isn't that interesting. I will let you mull over the potential uses.

Anyway, this will be a neat addition to our experience. Can't wait to see you all,

    your site host,

    Nate

also. Cindy and I are prepping bags with your tech sheets, local map, list of restaurants from chains to mom and pop diners, chamber of commerce guides, menu selection for the banquet - we want to give the Club a heads up so they can prepare to serve us quickly, and a few goodies.

Ah, the Longest Day. Aka The Longest Movie with the Biggest Cast. One of my favorites.
BTW, those of you already in or on your way to PA, be sure to wish your CD Lee McKinzie (McSpuds) a Happy Birthday today.

These engines are the fastest in any tanks in the European Theater of Operations, forwards or backwards. You see, man, we like to feel we can get out of trouble, quicker than we got into it.

It is a...different movie. But Kelly's Hero's is never the "wrong" movie. Just watched a couple of days ago, in fact.
