2019 Nationals was held from 7/7 to 7/12 in Oakboro, NC. 35 captains took to the water, with 19 allies (89 units) facing off against 16 axis (71 units). It was very competitive battling all week. The Axis got out to a 17,000 point lead after Monday, but a strong Allied campaign effort closed the gap to 10,000 after Tuesday. Axis took the night by 2,000, but Allies won both the fleet battle Thursday by 3,000 and the Campaign battle by 10,000 to take the lead going into Friday. The Axis responded with a renewed battle cry and took the Friday fleet battle by 6,000, winning Nats by 4,500. Fleet scores attached

That picture of Kas looks like it could be an old timey oil painting.

It was a super close fight going into Thursday. Was an awesome experience for my first ever NATs. Come about thursday I thought I couldn't be more tired of boats, but I am stoked for the next battle already. Can't wait for Nats 2020.
