Sadly I won’t be battling due to the fact one of my ships was destroyed by a storm and the other is giving me problems with running. But I will be there Wednesday Thursday and Friday to spectate. I am excited as this will be my first NATS.

If you show up Sunday and ask for help you ship will work Monday morning. I have seen ships completely rebuilt with some team efffort and n one night.

that’s the sad part I won’t be there until Wednesday due to the fact I have to work Monday and Tuesday because I couldn’t get it off. The problem with the ship is one of my props keeps coming loose and my rudder gear keeps slipping and I haven’t fully tested the ships speed yet. Other then that the ship runs and shoots as it should with no problem. I had a small ESC problem that I fixed by putting a new one in so I don’t have a spare for now.

Did you grind flat spots on the respective shafts for where the set screws are So they have something to grip? For the prop, did you use blue locktite on the set screw?

I did grind flat spots on the shafts for the set screws the one prop stays on and the other falls off after a bit. I was thinking about using locktite on the set screws just haven’t been able to get any due to work.

Good, locktite is a must for anything with setscrews on the drive shaft / motor shaft - props, collars, gears, dogbone couplings. Use Blue (removable) so it can be disassembled if desired.

What kind of props are you using?
When you rudder gear slips what happens? Is it not lined up so the teeth fully mesh. It is meshed at one point but unmeshes as it turns. pictures would help

the props I am using are the ones that came with the kit. Also for the rudder it is meshed properly and then it unmeshed as it turns

If it is unmeshing as it turns the gears are tipped and need to be leveled toward each other.
    What ship is it?

Modelshipsahoy will be at IRCWCC Nats on Tuesday July 14th.

If anyone attending would like a good deal on one of our boats, let us know ASAP so we can bring it with us and save on packaging and shipping cost.

We would love to find the time to finish that baby! It’s going to be super cool with accurate lines for the scale guys and a super secret special mod that lets us adjust the mold for the Combat guys.

We have been averaging selling 3 boats a day and growing for months now and just so little time for r&d. In the past 2 years, We have increased our offerings to this community from only ONLY ONE..., to now 15 Ships!!!!! ... still working on many more yet unannounced projects.

Now finding its better to announce them when they are done. Lol.
