Hey, come work on boats! Eric Bitondo will be escaping from the drudgery of Navy life for the day, and will join Tugboat and Brian Koehler (and anyone else who comes up!) in the shop.
Saturday, 24MAY2014, starts at 10AM (10:00 hours for military types), ends whenever!

Shop opening at 11:30... Tuggy needs to get his eyes checked so he can get new eyeballs.

We got a lot done; Brian K brought his son and they tore apart more of the back of the shop that we're destroying. He found some good plywood that escaped the termites which will be repurposed for shelves.

Eric (aka Kotori) came up and worked on his I-boat next to my I-boat. They are both looking good, and while we both have different things that remain to be done, I think we're both about the same distance from completion. I'll post some pics soon, I need to chill for a bit :)

I need to make the trek over some time. I'd like to meet Kotori in person one of these days.

How can you possibly mix us up like that, Clark? It should be obvious! Gascan is the tall, smart, handsome one. Kotori is the cheap knock-off copy: almost as tall, almost as smart, almost as handsome, but not quite the same. Worse, he's sneaky. Definitely the evil twin.

I had fun in the shop. Stuffing tubes are now installed. Next week should be prop shafts and rudder posts. Time to start looking at motors.

It was easy before you were both enlisted and got your hair cut the same. The C in Carl stood for long, Curly hair. =]

Perhaps the "evil twin" could affect a goatee, which is the universal identifying mark. Or maybe a dueling scar? ;P

That's not a good sign... I had a goatee before regulations required it be removed. Have I been living a lie my whole life?

Wait, what do you mean, "evil twin?" I assure you that I am not the evil twin. I promise I have no intention of conquering or destroying the world (any time soon). I am certainly not building any (new) death rays, doomsday devices, or infernal machines. I have not gained any superpowers (that I've told anyone about), and I'm not trying (very hard) to learn sorcery, witchcraft, and jedi mind tricks. I don't even have an evil moustache (any more). Why do you look so worried?

Because denial is the first step towards acceptance... it is... your density. Er... Destiny. Yeah, that's it, Destiny.

Wait, so we can tell the evil twin by using a density scanner? Yet another reason the density scanner is better than the holo scanner!

Sort of like the trial by water, though with reversed results. A good person will be accepted by the water and will sink while the evil one will be rejected and float. We could just use big scales and a duck for the test.
