Sheesh, he brought nothing. I was disappointed :(

My left hand was not up to real boat work, so I worked on filling in the hard area on my Gearing class DD, and did a little hand-filing on the stringers and ribs of Malaya with a measuring tool to ensure that stringers are 1/8" and ribs are 1/4". That's going to take some time, so I'll be going out in the evenings for a half hour at a time to get it done. I don't want to put internals in until I'm done making blue dust.

Brian spent the day cutting windows in QE, and new guy David W showed up and managed to cut a bunch of windows in his new SoDak. He is learning fast and I look forward to seeing his SoDak on the water with the two QE's and Pete's KGV.

Bummer, I thought he was going to bring a 1/96 Yamato, or something of the sort.
