well I might be a newbie here [] but spent plenty of time on the paintball field so I put some of that to use and headed to my local paintball store and sat down with the tech explained our sport and my weight issue and he was intrigued with the idea of fighting models not to mention he gets to keep me as a customer and maybe find some new ones [] but anyways we took apart my 3.5 and weighed the stock valve than played around with a ton of combination it was neat got to use his shop and all the new air toys in the front display case if it would fit we tried it on so what we came up was the lightest and I think easiest set up We used the stock valve lighter than off on valve by a ton even when we installed a siphon tube. Than we went with TSO "Thread Saver" Inline On/Off ASA w/purge works great when you turn it off it dumps your system. Will let you know in July if it works as well as I think it will [^] I will put a link below for manufacturer I paid $14.00 for it there is even a video some kid made so you can se it work http://www.newdesignz.com/Misc_5.htm
Nice find. Question, is there any benefit to making a new port in the regulator instead of stacking the fittings? This would be in regard to a ship running tripples (would a direct port offer better flow)?
I found a 2.5 rechargable, the same weight as a 3.5, but very long and narrow. I plan on using it in my Atlanta, to keep the weight down low. It was $54 if I remember right.
Wow. Dave, is that the cylinder you was talking about this past weekend? If so, get a paintball ASA adapter. It'll fit.
Yes thats the one I was telling you about, it would work great I think in your Glore, would keep the weight down low for sure. I looked for a ASA adapter, but found different types, I know nothing about paintball guns, do you have a link Mike for the correct one?
heres a 3.5 for $20 http://www.paintballemporium.com/wp11225.html and the on/off valve for $12 http://home.fuse.net/edge/edgepaintball/co2tanks.html
