    Intriguing. The barrel bend is one of the most highly stressed parts on the entire cannon. I wonder how well this will hold up over time. At least the layers are oriented for maximum strength. Definitely worth an acetone vapor bath for hardness.

    just out of curiosity does the files open as a mesh for others? its rather blocky and lots of triangles not sure why fusion opened them that way. perhaps im used to creating files and things being uniform. not a master at fusion so it may be me but not sure. thanks for the input

    Well yeah, the files are in .stl format for 3d printing as-is. If you want the original CAD files for editing, you'll have to ask BigGunJeff. Or you can just reproduce the idea from scratch in Fusion360, it's not that complicated of a part to model.

    ya recreating the idea isnt a huge issue.. was just wondering if i messed something up lol.
