Keep in mind this is an "alpha kit" and there are probably changes in what you would get, as well as my drive will be belt driven so that is unique to this build.
    Superstructure, just add the rods.

Rudders. Tray is built in and comes with all the gears (except the servo gear). Added threaded inserts for the servo. Super simple to setup.
Also included the props, drag disks, and shaft material.

The super that I provide is specifically Malaya. Barham never had the hangar, if I recall correctly. But you could easily cut/acetone weld/etc the hangar shape into a smaller box and stick the funnel on top to make a Barham. OR cut the funnel off the roof of the hangar and then scratch build or 3d model your own structure for under it. The forward superstructure should all be mostly serviceable as either ship.

Pic from google for reference, showing Barham's lack of a hangar:

Oh that isn't mine, thats just the only good picture I could find on google showing Barham's lack of a hangar area.

I think my superstructures would be worth a bit more if they looked that good :woot:

Will pay $$$ for superstructure that looks that good, but not that ship. :p

Are there any more photos of that rendering? I feel this sudden need to revise my QE turret model.

    Hey Lou!

I have one of my very own on the way! If you get a chance could you measure the gap between the props (or center to center on the shafts)? I have a pair of brass 1.6" korts from prop shop I was hoping to use and was wondering if they would fit (it is my understanding the ship is built to use 1.5" props so the gap between the prop blades needs to be over 1/8" for them to fit.)

    Cheers

    John

Will do, I need to update this thread anyways. I am going to try the props that come with the kit, all indications are positive from use on other boats.

Deck are held down with a lot of small magnets. The decks have a little too much flex for me, so I have reinforced with lightweight aluminum. Very sturdy!

Hey guys, I want to go 12 volt in this boat (I have a Carl pump). Recommendations on batteries?
