while they are great props (had one on the Baden I had) at 31.35 a prop, it's a little expensive to be dropping for 4 props on ships that haven't hit the water yet. I probably will order them in plastic soon so I can get the shafts fitted, but still want metal before they get into combat action.

Also, I'm just seeing if anyone has some spares they want to /could part with before I go get new.

Just order two for the main shafts, and use 3d printed or other less valuable props for the decoratives. No sense using the good stuff on props that are not going to be used, or are just going to be damaged/lost.

Heh. If I remember later, I'll post some hokey drag "prop"/disc things I cooked up for someone else's Seydlitz a while back. They're hokey, but they will do, and they don't cost $30 each.

It's actually for 2 different ships, and both are just 2 shaft ships as well.

Best to start with basic 3d printed props, then, and figure out what works.

Considering how well they have held up, I don't think that I'd call them hokey at all.
