being on my roadtrip to a wedding in Wisconsin,my hotel is only about 4 miles away from the second most successful US submarine the USS Cobia SS245 in Manitowoc. i heard of it by coincidence and changed my plans to visit the museum as well. long story short: i spent more than 4 hours there and had even a private tour on the boat and a lot of information going to and fro between the guide and me. if you ever be around that area: go to the maritime museum and visit a great submarine.. btw: compared with the german U 505 this one is huuuugeeee!!!
