My deck on mine is all settled in, sides are stripped and armor belt cut for penetration. Primer coat is on and will begin re attaching details soon.

I ended up putting a 1/8th drill bit through and running it the length of the rib. I have my pictures on my computer so I'll take a couple of minutes and upload them.

water channel is blue foam down sides of boat with channel in middle. I epoxied two wood strips in on bottom, covered all with fiberglass resin. I'm not sure how I would do it if I had to again but the cement looks promising. Here is the picts of the armor belt.

the cut is right above the 1/8th stringer. There is 3/8ths from the top, 1/8th cut, 1/8th stringer which sticks out even with the ribs kinda like this

    [__ deck top
    [
    [______ armor inset
    _________ 1/8th cut
    [ 1/8th stringer
    [
    [
    [ ribs
