A question about rudders...

    Hi,

    I was reading through the updated rules and noticed that rules D3 and D4, (rudders) have been deleted. It has been about 8 years since I read the rules, (moved to where there was no RCNC close) and I remember there was something to do with the total area of both rudders being slightly larger on dual rudder ships. My Scharnhorst was refitted 8 years ago and I bought the class 5 dual rudders for the refit from Battlers. My question is do I need to replace those rudders in order to be legal?

    No. all ships in class get same size now, no impact to those with dual rudders already
