Guess me and Palmer aren't the only weirdos. I'm not going to curse you with the AK I have. She's a wood hull and was way overbuilt by a heavy equipment engineer. It'd be quicker to build a new hull scratch than get her operational, and I'm probably not going to get her completed until like 2022. But, I can provide guidance once you're on your way: go to strike and buy the Wiswesser plans. they're really good. It might be worth asking @rcengr if he has a hull, or knows of a hull available. They're decent boats in Treaty.
We had two at one time. One was converted to a Japanese battlecruiser and I know that one isn't for sale. The other one belongs to a guy we haven't seen a couple of years.
