ammo limits?

    You can attach your turret covers with whatever is easy and quick mate. Mine just sit on in place and float just in case they come off in a sink.

    ahh, they float, thats a good thing... so what are they made of to be bb proof and float?

    They are actually made of 1.8mm aluminium sheet shdes bent to shape and riveted to the top which is also made of sheet aluminium. The face plate it made of 2mm thick gal steel with barrel holes bored into it. face is fine for hits but the turret takes hits leaving dimples and they look very cool I can tap them out with a hammer after every few battles and rapaint for that clean undamaged look. I filled its internals with flotation foam so they just float in the water. I have moulds to make fiberglass turrets for a lot of hulls but they take hits and eventually have to be replaced.

    ha! metal turret covers, awesome. ill have to look into this when i start making mine
