Any idea when NABS will have a website again?

Hey Paul, I was thinking that we could put a COOL ship at the top of our website; something like Scharnhorst, you know a ship that saw real combat , instead of that other one that is there now.

I say either Hood or Bismarck as they are the two ships most people reconize. Looks great so far Justin. Thanks for the well wishes Joker it did not go unnoticed.

Scharoast is not a COOL ship Jay, while nice looking it was really undergunned.

 

Not really, he was gunned perfectly for his taskings, and 9 german 11 inch guns could not only out distance their adversaries, they could still do lots of damage.

I would rather the Brtish 15" anytime, the may have had shorter range but the punch they had was much greater, the 11" would be hard pressed to harm a battleship, as Scharnie was a battleship it would have to go up against other battleships sometime and I don't think she would have stood up well. Look other battleships built around the same time; Nelson, KGV, Rich, VV, Nagato, Yamato, NC. All of those out gun Scharnie and Schanies guns would be hard pressed to do any real damage to any I listed there. The 11" while a good raider weapon was under powered as a capitalship weapon.

 

Gents, why don't you use your logo? Perhaps create a banner with a couple ships or a cannon sitting in the background & your logo in the front?

I would be a site admin. I can start updating site whenever I have access. Our club domains will have an entrance page that directs to this site. The hosts that I use for the domains have a policy against direct redirect. however a front door is allowed. And since they have no ads on the host I will create a front door that goes to this site.
