[8D]Hmmm lets start with the misses. Not the "Missus". Well be nice if I had a website ready. Needed more people to help chat and describe the other displays and do the demos. A larger room with better lighting. More Advanced Advertising and shows need to be preplanned a year in advance. You got to have sponsors and vendors.
If I had more volunteers or membeship to assist with set up and transmport before the show that would have been great.

For this show it seems the RC market is the most entertaining and interesting. It can easily be done at Trade shows to generate interest and recruitment. You want to recruit and get interest you got to get the Model out there in the public for them to see how cool your RC model is and how much fun your having with it. Tie in the cost versus the usage and longevity, educational, recreational ect.

I know that a small event can generate huge interest if done right. However you need solid backing because it is too difficult to do alone. It takes a lot of hard work but if you can pull it off it will be very rewarding.

The main problem like all the othershows I done over the years is TIMING. SHOWS like Home shows, ect that are going on the same day usually will take away the crowds. It is so difficult to forcast what event will be held on the day you present the show.

I think that just getting your ships out there battling and getting pics or video will help. Public eye is the best place for recruitment.

The only missus for me was lack of manpower and the cost, plus the lack of Tables. Other than that I had no real complaints other than it got warm in the room late in the afternoon. A larger room will be better.

The hits... The Display worked as intended. Layout is very important. The huge interests. The Marketing potential realized.Meeting lots of people who "Actually" SHARE the same intersts. Didn't have to break down the tables, very little garbage to attend to. Secure room with a key at my disposal anytime.

It was a costly but very productive event. We will see how it all pans out though. The market here is much more challenging. All in due time. Meanwhile I keep on sailing.
