I have season 1,2,3 Take that. Believe it or not there is a company that makes these ships in lead. They also put out a set of rules and a reconition manual.Models were also made.Sorry I revived this thread. I was a fan of this also.

    saraba chikyuu yo.......farewell, Mother Earth
tabidatsu fune ha.......the ship that is taking off
uchuu senkan Yamato.....is the Space Battleship Yamato

I've memorized both verses of the Japanese version, a rough translation of the Japanese version, both English verses, and a fan-made verse for the third season. I've got subtitled and un-edited versions of season one and two, but haven't given in to my dark side and gotten the third season yet (though I probably will soon).

I just went to conquest Sacramento where a gaming con will happen in March 2009. A game will be played using Star Trek,Bablyon 5,Star Wars,Star Blazer,Battle Star Galectica space ships in one mother of a battle. Anyone want to place a bet on who is the victor when the shooting stops?

Easy. Star Trek ships have shields, most of the others don't. If they stay true to the movie/tv specs, the ST ships will go thru the rest like a hot knife thru butter. Personally, I'd like a Borg cube, or failng that, USS Defiant (with the Romulan cloaking device fitted).

That is true about the shields. Do not though forget about the fighters the other vessels carry. Nasty knats,

Depends on what game engine they're using. If they're using the "A Sky Full of Ships" ruleset, which is the only cross-series ruleset that I know of, they managed to balance Star Trek shields with other defenses, armor, etc. I'd bet on Star Wars, because they've got Imperial Star Destroyers. And Imperial Star Destroyer Mark IIs. And in all my space-wargaming days, I have yet to find a sci-fi fleet that can take on an equal-points force of ImpStar Deuces. It's kinda like the real-world Iowa class: the perfect blend of speed, firepower, and protection. Plus swarms of TIE fighters.

Star Wars also has the Death Star, which technically is a space ship. It's only weakness is that cowling vent.... and unless a jedi is flying the other craft, I doubt it'll be hit (let alone known) :)

I just visited the site and the rules to be used is called FULL THRUST. Do not know who made them. I will do more research. There will be a Saturday game and a Sunday game. I will try to get into Sundays.
