Arizona project

    I'm building Arizona as non combat for this build however it will have waterchannelling and bilge pump and waterproof servis and rx .The inboard shafts will be operational but the wing shafts will be dummy.

    Cleaning up tbe hull and have installed the sub deck .

    Made progress on AZ waterproofing the subdeck and deck hatches.

    Managed to get a second coat of resin on thr subddck and deck hatches . Just need to palm sand the resin bumps and drops and then I an lay out the water channeling, drill out the shaft holes and rudder post holes.

    More progress . Still a lot of clean up . I am looking for a 3D file or Stl of the Arizona superstructure .

    How do you get the subdeck and top deck cuts so perfect? I am always in awe of your builds.

    Measure fit mark sand fit measure mark sand fit then tack and seal.

    What years would you guys want the super structure to reflect?

    For me I would want the superstructure to reflect how she was at Anchor on dec 7th

    @CURT , I'm assuming that's a kit from Strike Models? I like the use of plexiglass sheets in the superstructure. It'd be cool for the 01 deck to be wood.

    Curt and I had already worked out the superstructure ;)

    I sent him a cleaned up STL that he should be able to print.

    I haven't been able to print the aft tower . Several attempts have failed. Now my printer is out of service . Clogged nozzle and heating block.
