    Hi guys.

I am working on building a 10,000 ton cruiser for fast gun and am wondering what capacity batteries to use. It is set up with a pair of 380 direct drive motors for propulsion and a 380 for the pump. Would a 5200mah be enough for a sortie for this cruiser? I can get a 2s lipo 5200 for about $16 a piece from Amazon which would make a rather cost-effective battery solution. What do you guys think?

Yes, at 6V should be good for 1 sortie. I wouldn't want to push it more than that. Plus I think the Lipo cells are actually 3.3 volts each, so you are getting slightly more wattage than say NiMH or SLA with 6.6 actual volts. I run 10AH NiMH in larger cruisers, and 5 in smaller ones (usually under 8000 Tons)
