or it could be that Holland believed Bismarck was the leading ship and ordered that Hood and PoW fire upon the lead ship...

Holland did believe the leading ship was Bismarck. Prince of Wales correctly identified the trailing ship as Bismarck.

Today was our annual Denmark Straights event.

Funny how most of my action shots are of the Hood hitting the Bismarck...

The Hood also gave a little love to the PE...

If the guns aren't working, use what you have...

And if all else fails, run and hide. The Hood declined to follow the Bismarck into this local equivalent of a fiord with the submarine nets deployed.

Overall there were no sinks, so the battle was a draw. In both sorties however, the Germans did leave the battle first, leaving the British in undisputed control of the pond.

    Very nice photos.
Unfortunately my boats could certainly use some cosmetic work. But I focused on re-working all of the systems in them, and they performed very well.
The old Hood did suffer a rudder servo issue Sunday afternoon, and was taken out of service for the rest of the day. But she ran very well on Saturday, and for the D.S. battle on Sunday.
