Force one lead by by admiral Robert Bennett, in his flagship HMS Belfast along with Light cruiser Sheffield and Norfolk and four Destroyers HMS Matchless, HMS Musketeer, HMS Opportune, HMS Virago,. Force 2, which was the hammer for the Attack. They were lead by Sir Brace fraser in his flagship, KGV class battleship Duke of York.. With him was cruiser Jamaica, and 5-S class Destroyers Scourge, Savage who was also one of the DD's to escort Nurmberg and Eugen back to Germany, Saumarez, Scorpion, Stord..
