    Wow, I love it. I didn't know both sets of plans were from the same site. Thanks Beaver. Any opinion on the fewer 3/8" ribs vs more 1/4" ribs?

    I almost always use 1/4" ribs. No reason not to, and the closer spacing helps at bow and stern and bulges where the curves are trickier to sheet.

    That's my issue, the topic of placement and how one places ribs. Both "tutorial" threads on the forum use ships whose rules-legal ribs come straight from the plans, which neither set of Baden plans provides.

    I started a new thread with my questions in the "Hull" section to prevent littering this thread with my noobie questions.
