Don't get what? I have experience with items I listed. They work. And other potential new comers to this hobby will point to this thread and say why bother?
You seem like the type who'd build a submersible and insist on hiring young hip people with no actual experience with submersibles.
Nope, I believe in merit based hiring only. Especially when people's lives are on-the-line. That's a real POS thing to say to somebody. I know just enough about carbon fiber to know that Stockton Rush's Titan was garbage from the beginning. It's very unfortunate that not enough people spoke up about it.
