The North Carolina is moored in Wilmington, NC. I highly recommend a trip, even if you're not building one
USS Little Rock was a Cleveland class light cruiser which was converted to a missile cruiser. The USS The Sullivans is a Fletcher class destroyer. Good Mike
I've always wanted to see the North Carolina... i've been to the state before, but not on the shore where the she actual ship is. Sounds Like you've got lots of ships over in buffalo... Maybe if i See the NC i can get some preety Good Superstructure ideas Too.
The USS Little Rock has the missel laounching things still on but tyhen it has fake missels sticking out. When i WAS in boy scouts i selpt over on teh Little Rock, Then right down the street theres a Naval Museuem.
The new BC hull, the Cleveland class can be used to build the Little Rock. The Little rock is actually the only Cleveland class ship still around, out of 27 of them. Good Mike
LOL, anyways i saw that on Battlers it was pretty cool. Wow i never thought that it would be the last one around. Its a pretty cool ship. But the food is horrible
OK Gents, Mikey Got me my plans today the wood shows up tomorrow..hehe..starting to draw up my patterns...many photo copies ...learning curve...so here we go...lol Respectfully, Raymond George Bisson
i got in contact with a guy who has a invincable. i sent him a emial and he responded. But i have a quick question. The guy siad he resheeted the hull and it comes wiht a fiberglass superstructure. The super structure needs some sanding and it needs a deck and the rest of the parts. Hes askin $50 for it. Is this a good price?
for $50 it includes a hull from swampworks that is resheeted and a fiberglass superstructure than needs some sanding.
That sounds very good for a hull and superstructure. If there is anything more included then is definately a bonus.
Battler's Connection makes a complete VDT kit, sells for $230. I don't own one, but I've seen several and they're nice boats, good fighters. Basically the German version of my Invincible, at least as far as the hobby goes.
