I'm trying to consider what the best way of implementing this feature is. More specifically, should I require a user to log in before being able to upload photos? Forcing login will take a signifigantly longer time to implement, but I think it might be the right way of doing it. I'm tempted to simply create it now so people can upload their photos, and if it becomes a problem (like people uploading porn, etc) then start forcing a log in mechanism. What do you think? How do we know which photo is the best of the best? Simple: I'll implement a "voting system".
The prototype went up last night (don't worry, you are not supposed to be able to find it yet)... I think its working out well. It still needs voting support & true organization; but ITS ALIVE!!!
