I have 13 signatures left in my qualification card (out of more than 400), and am set to graduate May 10. I report to USS Florida Blue crew, SSGN 728, no later than June 19. Her home port is Kings Bay, GA, but I hear she's forward deployed in Diego Garcia.

Hooray! I remember quals at prototype all too well :) If she is forward deployed, I'll have fast gun loaner boats done by the time you get back! Brian is helping with Foch, and I'm close to having Edie to battle ready. So you can go fast or slow :)

I had an I-boat from Strike with windows cut out and subdeck installed. Not sure what happened with it (Mike or Kotori may know). I also have a big gun Gascoigne to play with, although it needs some holes patched and cannon testing.

Well guys, it looks like I'm taking my next step, too. Just got word that I'm heading off to prototype on May 10. Alas, it doesn't actually start until two months after that, but I'll finally be off the NNPTC site.

I think he's staying in Charleston. Meanwhile, I passed my board yesterday. I'll be down in Georgia soon enough.

yep, staying in Charleston. Good, because I'm still here. Bad, because that prototype is having more difficulties than the New York one.

NY one has lots of room. I did student at MARF and staff tour at S8G. Both were good experiences, in retrospect :) Kick @$$ at prototype and try to get picked up as SPU. One of the SPUs that trained me came to my boat at the same time, and he made chief before he finished his 5-yrs at sea. No craziness, just hard work.
