I salvaged an old 10oz bottle from my first Biz (IRCWCC) and am planning on putting it in my new Biz. The problem: I am having a hard time finding new 10oz bottles. If I can't find one, want are captains doing for their Bismarck? Two 5oz bottles? My current setup will be 5 guns and one pump.
I know it isn’t a Biz but for my NJ I run a 7oz for the bow guns and a 5 oz for the stern guns. Probably have to move to a 9oz for the bows. My setup is 6guns and 2 pumps so I would say a 7oz and a 5 oz should be plenty for you I think 2 5oz bottles might be a stretch. Are your guns high flow because if so it will definitely be a stretch for the two 5 oz bottles.
I am not sure if the guns are high flow are not. They are 3D printed coil guns courtesy of @Kotori87 . They have the 1/8" hose running to them instead of the smaller 1/16" hose. I have very similar guns in my Lutzow currently. They appear to only use about 1oz per sortie per gun. Where did you get a 7oz bottle from?
10oz is a really odd size. Think regular paintball tanks. 9oz and 12oz are whats out there. I run a 12oz in my Indiana which is very similar to a Biz, my guns are very high flow. Like, 11/10 silly level high flow.
I’m not married to 10oz. It’s just what I had laying around. But where are you guys getting these 7, 9 or 12 oz bottles? Battlers connection only has 3 and 5oz
Look at local paintball places, facebook marketplace, ebay, etc. I bought about 20 12oz and 9oz tanks from a paintball place that was closing up for like $3 a tank. Then I got the appropriate on/off valve for the tank for about $15 each. Voila, $20~ for a 9oz boat tank.
i bought my 7oz when a guy near me on FB was selling his whole paintball tank stock and I bought like 20 tanks from him from 5 oz all the way to a 16oz tank. It was like 20 tanks. That’s the best way to get them is from paintballers that are getting out of the hobby and then go buy an on/off valve and replace the pin valve that is on it. Just make sure the tanks are empty.
I have these in my NJ. They are heavy but they are solids they are meant for off road use so they can take the abuse we will give them. https://www.polyperformance.com/poly-performance-co2-fixed-regulator-227c-150
With those poly performance regulators, buy a few at a time. I think you need $120 for free shipping. And always look for coupon codes, being a Jeep/Murica/Punisher Skulls/BIG TRUCK/Yeehaw website, they will undoubtedly have a 4th of july sale and you might get some percent off. They also provide discounts for fire/ems/police/military: https://www.polyperformance.com/service-discounts.html
I'd make sure you check around with the coupon codes. When I looked them up via Google yesterday it was showing the regulator as only being $40 because there was a coupon code Google had found. They've always got some sort of code floating around.
