What are the cool kids using for ESCs with brushless motors?

Does anybody know of any dual brushless ESC setups? I've had good success using dual brushed ESCs from the robot marketplace and similar as an all-in-one board for certain boats. One ESC for propulsion, the other for pump. But I haven't seen any similar brushless setups.

From my research I have found that 2 brushless motors and 2 esc’s is possible. YOU HAVE TO on 1 esc or on the Y splitter remove a positive lead. The Y splitter to the throttle channel will power up both motors and esc’s in harmony at the same time no glitches.

I’m about to build a USS Texas.
My questions are do I use 2 marine esc’s or not? What size brushless motors? What amps am I supposed to be operating at in IRCWCC Ruling?

The 10bl60 esc that south jersey sells is popular. I recommend you ask South Jersey their recommendations for the Texas. He should be able to tell you a solid motor to use with it.

I know those esc’s are for RC cars/trucks. I have 2 10bl120a one in a rock bouncer and the other in my crawler. That’s why I asked if I use some for marine at 60a then it should work well with water over landlobers. Hobby king

The reason we recommend the 10BL60 is 1) They come completely waterproof from the factory. All you have to do is take off the cooling fan. 2)Unless you are trying to build some crazy big setup the 60amps is plenty.

I learned the hard way you don't necessarily have to go big. When I first built my Bismarck, I was trying this massive drive motor in there with 120 amp ESC... I burned out two ESCs for various reasons trying to get my "big custom" set up to work. In the end, a 1000KV out runner motor with the 10BL60 ESC was the ticket. For your first build go with what works well for in the hobby. Don't make the mistakes I made.

Perfect thank you for letting me know. That’s the set up that should work. Depending on you get a lemon from the factory. Haha
