Well. I have an up-date on being able to host build-sessions here at my shop.
I have been in discussions with the Admiral, and she has asked that I give up the name of the captain that requested the movie in question, and then we can get back to building here.
I however, feel bound by honor to not rat out one of my fellow shipmates.
So currently, we are at an impasse.
The boat shop remains closed for build-sessions.
The Admiral did however offer up one more option.
If the grown man who requested that we watch the Penguins Movie during the boat building session last month will step forward and fess up, then the boat shop can once again be open for business.
Although with that being said. There may be a "do not watch" list implemented.

Big guns, submarines, attack aircraft... who wouldn't think Penguins is appropriate for a model warship combat gathering?

We are good to go for the weekend of April 9 + 10 for the sheeting workshop at our boat shop.
I will have the shop set up before I leave out for work on Friday night. So that if anyone gets there before I get home on Saturday morning, you can make yourselves at home.
And we can go into the evening on Saturday if we wish.
We can then get an early start on Sunday. Say 8 or 9 am. And go as late as we want.
We will be picking up contact-cement, MEK, and the other supplies that we will be needing, so that we have it on hand.

Well the shop is closed for the day. And what a fun day it was.
Steve got some stuff done on his Penelope, as well as a lot done on his new project.
Phil got his new Frenchie sheeted, and paint work done on his pocket-battleship.
And Nikki made a lot of progress on her Le Terrible with some help from Mark and myself.
We got to see some new tech stuff, and some great war movies.
Midway, The enemy below, The Sea wolves, Flight of the Intruder.
I am hoping to get up early tomorrow morning and get back to the fun.
It looks like Nikki, Steve, and perhaps Phil, and Matt will be building with us.
It is supposed to be a lot warmer as well.

It was great fun indeed. Someone needs to bring Sink the Bismarck next time. I can't find mine.
We only have 4 weekends left to get ready for the Denmark Straits event. So I will be building at least two of those
    weekends.
So just keep us posted if any of those weekends work best, and we will get a session scheduled.
