Looks great Paul! I like the way you have the motors in so they will clear the guns. You will really come to appreciate that.

Thanks Iceman. I did a bench test today of hooking individual guns to the co2. I tested each cannon. They fire with no leaks. So I am confident when I plumb in the pneumatics tomorrow I should not run into any problems.

The battery tray has been completed. The poppet trays have been installed. The servos have been screwed into the trays. Pump switch has been velcrod into the hull. The bottle has a holderbeen created. The internal armor has been built for the rear. It is a thick shower curtain taped up. It is Velcro'd into place.Pictures to come,

Thanks Curt. Do you know a way to close a port?

Ports are closed using those screws. The other way is to attach a valve like a needle valve but that would be a waste of a valve unless your using it for venting a line.

Paul draw out how you have it duals hooked up. I can tell what you need or don't need and where to install what if I can see how you have it connected.

Paul, do have any one way valves? Remember at CANNATS 10 Scharnhorst's duals would fire worth a crap? I added one way or 'non-return' valves and that solved the entire issue. They are available from Battlers and locally at Wainbee.

The port was closed with a 10/32 screw. The pneumatics are now plumbed in and the system pressurized. no leaks detected.

I have started to sheet the hull. About half the hull has been sheeted. once it has been sheeted, i will gap fill any cracks with bondo and then add a layer of silkspan.

Thank you. The other side has now been sheeted. I have started to fill the gaps in the sheet swith bondo. One side was done today. another will be done later when one side has dried. then i can sand. And then attach the last bit of silkspan to the hull.

USN had some very sleek looking hulls in that era.

Once I get the new throttle switch installed, I will take it to the pond for a test run. Then it is on to the superstructure.

Throttle switch has been installed (again) it works. next is to complete thje pump wire in and then do a full system test with all systems with the radio receiver. If it passes then I will take it to the pond to test the the system again.
