I was wondering if you could do a very long campaign and numerous battles. It would be:
    River Plate
    Narvik
    Operation Juno
    Taranto
    Denmark Strait
    Hunt for the Bismarck
    Pearl Harbor
    South China Sea
    Java Sea
    Coral Sea
    Doolittle Raid
    Alutians + Landings
    Midway
    Channel Dash
    Savo Island
    Eastern Solomons
    Cape Esperance
    Santa Cruz Islands
    Guadalcanal + Landings
    Tassafaronga
    Rennell Island
    Bismarck Sea
    Blackett Strait
    Komandorski Islands
Arctic Convoy (lumped into one battle)
    Kula Gulf
    Vella Gulf
    Vella Lavella
    Empress Agusta Bay
    Cape St. George
    North Cape
    Operation Stonewall/ Bay of Biscay
    D-Day + Landings
    Battle of Ushant
    Philippine Sea + Landings
    Sibuyan Sea
    Surgiao Strait
    Samar + Landings
    Cape Enango
    Iwo Jima + Landings
    Okinawa + Landings
    Malaka Strait
    Japan + Landings
    Tokyo Bay Surrender (PARTY!!!!)
    It would take forever though
    maybe over the summer
At the Tokyo Bay Surrender, Awards and winner is announced.

I thought it would be fun to get the entire RC Naval Combat community involved in one big campaign.

My idea was to design a website with the Atlantic and pacific oceans on it. Different clubs and captains could dook it out and then submit the results to this website. The winner would move the front line closer to the other capital.

it would be like the computer game “battleground Europe” but with RC Naval Combat.

Warhammer 40k tried this in the early 2000s. It was a massive headache if I remember correctly.

As cool as that would be, it would be kind of impractical, and it would probably have to be fastgun, due to the fact Big Gun/Treaty/Battlestations/1/72 is much smaller and less widespread.
