NABS in the Halifax/Dartmouth area of Nova Scotia used to be one of the largest IRCWCC clubs and hosted an annual 2-day event called Cannats. We had competitors attend from the OAF, the only other Canadian fast gun club I'm aware of, and the US (most often Marty Hayes). I think OAF members have attended both IRCWCC and MWC events in nearby states.

Unfortunately NABS exists in name only, most former members having moved away and/or left the hobby. There are 4 members left in Nova Scotia with battle ready models but there hasn't been a club battle in 7 years. Our permit to use an excellent local lake expired in 2007 0r 2008.

Paul has attended NATS in recent years but NS is a long way from the closest IRCWCC NATS site in Rhode Island - at least a 12 hr drive. That said, Curt's gone to NATS from Newfoundland - much further out in the Atlantic! I have to rejoin the IRCWCC in 2016 so I can attend NATS again. I'll be based in New Brunswick by then, only an 8 hr drive from RI.
