Fr:Commander Chewbacca (Chewie) Master and Commander of Captured Allie Ships

    To: Emperolistic Republic of NewBrunswick

Subject: Observations from Central Complex(Heid's Place and Klearney Lake)

    Warrghhgg, Rowrrgghhh!!!! Translation Matrix..Set... Continue...

Returning to Rock Central(Nfld): What an incredibley Great time it was. It was filled in the beginning with angst not knowing what to expect,or do. Then daunting to get several ships in extremely short time ready for an onslaught that nobody will forget..ever. You could feel the spirit begin to lift as the week and activites were ever increasing. The flurry of the ship yard was an amazing sight to behold. (Too bad for the CAT!) The midnight oil burned with no end( did we cause the oil prices to go up from this?)

A lot was riding on this event. Everybody wanted a great time and we all put our best effort forward to do just that..have FUN FUN FUN!! burp! Sorry. I felt more energized as the week went on. THough appearances are deceiving( I looked like Crap)Got fat too..lol. My heart for this hobby burned like a Nuclear Core. I wanted to have a great time and I was going to try my best that everybody involved had a good time.

I HAVE so many high points of the past week I don't know where to start.
Being "Punked" by Craig and Chris is a good place to start. Did you guys really think you fooled me? Hmmm? The black furball that scared the heck out of me every night I was working on a ship and it just darted out of nowhere next to me.

Playing the W.i.i. and getting a Fit test. Hey I am 35 not 44. I knew I was ready for sleepless nights. Heck I thrive on them during a Can-nats event ask anyone.

The Coffee.... my god I had more grounds drank I think I ate them like raisins and liked it.

Franks Diner! Short skirts, blondes and roller skates... oh yeah the food was great too.

Seeing Craig coming back to life like a plant that has just received water after a dry spell. Seeing Chris shell shocked at how much was done and accomplished in a short time that was physically and mentally exhausting.

The reuninon of old friends and meeting new ones like Mac, Joy, Gregory,Will(damn good boxer on the Wii and cook!!)Jay which I got to know a little better. Seeing Chris Osborne and his Mom. Been a long time and it brought back great memories. Seeing Steven Crane and I really enjoy watching him battle and talking Tech talk. Paul"Mr. Gibbs" having one hell of a time. He I know was looking wholeheartly to battling his new ship. What a comeback he had. Just watching him and that big SMILE said it all.

Hey my first event where I did not get water into my Rubber Boots.
My first battle as an Allie Warship Captain. I had a blast operating Warspite and Taunting anybody that had a cannon aimed at her. That's ok Chewbacca was watching my back. I was really excited to see Bismarck operate as a class 7 Combat x style setup. Great! The sinking of it was even better!! Tirptiz looked awesome on the water. A little more work and TIME and this ship should be reliable as well. Scharnhorst!. Well... blown away... I was just totally in awe of this ship and how it performed. The interior setup was one of the cleanest and most reliable setups I have ever seen. With this ship's history there is truly a PHOENIX in that ship rising from the dead. Great Great Great Great !!! PE that ship just kept going and going. Once the pump activation issue was "trimmed" that little ship never gave up. I want one for next year.

Blah blah..ok Iknow I get it alright..

    Highlights for me

Seeing all the guys and doing all the great things that made the event the most memomorable and most fun for me.

The sinks! Veneto-Musashi(Thanks Chris!!)What a great sport you are..Bismarck..classic fight hard die hard.. love it. PE Jack Sparrow type of sink. Masts sinking and the Monkey almost dipped in the water only to pull it self upright along with the mast and stay above the water on the mast as the whole ship submerged minus the masts. Great stuff.

Sodak in a word ... UGLY!! But I mean that with great affection. That ship was lauchned and it ran great interference. It was riding light but was stable and maneuverable. The funny part Steve Crane of Nagato thought the ship's sides were impenetrable. But it turned out the sides were not waterproofed correctly and it was very soggy. The BBs were penetrating but without the "crack" sound of the balas being penterated. We found Nagato and other ships did quite a bit of damage to it.

Geez too much to go through here.. Hurry with the pics Craig!

Ok Barbecue and the vids we looked at Phenom! The site amazing! The Host party. Extremely patient and welcoming since we litteraly took over the house. The action, pump streams, Chris rising from the depths only to find he can't find his glasses but were found. The missing items that were recovered. The number of MASCOTS that adorned the ships and they all survived..yes Steven Crane even the littel guy at the bow of Tirpitz still pointing saying ... "There's a Japanese ship coming our way!a
Chuck and Joy's dog "Dakato" who stayed with me and followed me to every room but mainly kept me company through the long nights.

My hats off to this event. I can't wait to do it again next year.

Thank you Chris and Heidi for your warm welcome and taking care of me during my stay. I AM in your debt. Thanks to everbody who drove a long way to attend. I really appreciate seeing you guys there. Thanks to Will for letting me use his room and W.I.I. system. Thanks for the support and help with the ships in the shipyard and at the site.

My Personal and Special thanks to Craig Nash. Hope your spirit for this sport has found a bright spot and I hope you cherish what it really is about. Having fun through a great hobby that allows for fond and lasting memories.

Oh wait... I just recieved my package...(opens package) well now..how fitting is that ... I just received my AXIS AND ALLIES WAR AT SEA ship miniature..... WARSPITE... now that's what I call a timely fitting end to a great week.

    Yours truly.

Hey Fuzzy, Craig is up here in fredericton with me so if you come here we all could battle together. That would be cool, as most people are going to be building smaller boats. Cummbie won't be so outgunned anymore, with three graf Spee's and a sedilez coming out of the ship yard for next year. Along with one large allied boat HMS Vanguard planned to start construction once Tirpitz is completely reliable. There will be lots of ships here in NB and several more only 4 hours away.

Craig, I don't know if it is the computer here at work or not but I can't view any of the pics past the first one of Vinneto starting to sink. I can't access these pics in the file manager either, but I can access the others in your folder and any in the other folders.
