Everything happened so fast, I don't remember even burning something for Steve, I do remember Mack, so if he says I did, it might not have been burned properly. My puter can be finicky especially if I am not 100% paying attention to it`s quirks...so could be a bad burn, or didn`t close properly, might even be blank... I`ve had that happen. With everything happening so fast, I really don`t remember. Yes I can and will put dvd`s together. I always do! :) I`ve done it each year. It is not always out the week after the end of season, but I do get to it. I still have not taken the video off the stationary camera. I figure that will be another 3 hours worth. I do have 17 gigs just from Friday-Sunday. I will do my best to pair this down to a DVD. Great that it is the work computers. Told ya!

It still seems wierd that these computers do that but what can you do. I talked to Mack and he will burn a copy for Steve, so you don't have to worry about it. As long as you get the other stuff done by the agreed deadline, 4 pm today local isn't it [;)], everything will be fine! Talk to you later, J

Craig why not do it on my computer, just in case vista has some quirks you don't know about.

I could.... it would mean slaving... copying.... a bit of info. As far as we know so far Steve's is the only dud. It was 1 in the am when I did them. I passed out and woke up an hour later... don't remember checking them so, it may even might not have been burned. Hard to say. I've had no real issues personally... It should be fine. If they get burned and don't work than we can try other methods.

    Finally finished.
Ok where to start, We arrived at 2215, just missed the liquor store, but Chris and Craig were able to fix us up thanks guys!! and went straight to work. Our boats (Nagato and Scharnhorst) didn't even make it out of the van. Steve started in on Tirpitz with Curt and Chris, I shot the s%#t with Craig, Heidi,Will and Chuck and Joy. I helped with Miss Mog trying to get her to sea for Sat but alas it was not to be. I was able to fiber glass over a large hole in her stern and help construct a bracket to hold her firing servo. Her rudder system was overhauled and we were able to get the ESC working to a point but no where near acceptable. We all crashed around 3 am to get a good night sleep.
Next thing it is 0700 and Craig was waking people up with the promise of coffee and lots of it!
We get to the water on Sat and I put Scharnie in for his first run in New Brunswick. He looked damn good (if I do say so myself) and ran better than he looked. I was very happy with his performance over the whole weekend and still here at home.
I hope the pics come out ok because I can't see them here.

I will post more later, time to go.

Scharnnie looks great! Nagato and Scharrnie were not against Bis on Day two were they? Cause I can see Bis' Atlantic bow... all battlescarred (great shot by the way) and that means this is from Day 2? I'm not sure now... but it was a great time anyways!

So so true but that will depend on this winter. As for my Canats memories....Hmmmm... Well I really enjoyed chasing Mushi and finally scoring some hits on her stern from about 20 feet with my bow gun and the worst was day 1 when I my air line gave way in the first 30 seconds. It was great to see everyone from NS and it was awesome to get to know Curt better. The long days in the basement trying to get the boats up and running. Thanks to Curt for his work and for showing me a lot. That is the kind of thing this hobby needs more of. On another note I for one hope this is the thing we can expect in this hobby from now on.

Hey Chris thanks for the support. Under better circumstances I am sure we could have cleared up those tech bugs no problem.

I think for me the memory of cannats was the vindication with the PE. The last cannats I had pump issues. It was so bad that on the video you can hear me say F&*^*^& pump. Now with the PE with the same pump it worked like a charm. Of course the bug was the lack of priming hole 2 years ago. I look forward to next year and having two capable ships on the water ready for action.

Thanks!![:D] Yup, remember it was Japan against the world; Bismarck, Tirpitz, Scharnhorst and PE against Nagato and the Moo. PE was late to launch and within a minute both Bis and Tirp had defects and were pulled for repairs. Then it was Me against Japan [:(] so I legged it away to try to set up for at least one good shot before the end (figured I wouldn'tlast too long against those two). To make it more even Steve jumped and the two of us went after the Moo. After the Moo went down you came back in (I think) and went after Nagato while I tried to shoot you with less than spectacular results. When the videos are available, we should be able to figure it out better.

I have some more. Paul and I had fun chasing each other, both getting used to our boats, taking pot shots and trying to out turn each other. Here is a good pic of the PE.

On day two, I forget which battle when the German fleet shone like a lump of coal. Bismarck and Tirpitz broke down, and the Lutzow took out the Scharnhorst with an awesome ram! Here is a pic of that.

    Behold the Sea Cow!!

    And the Island of Moo.

    Both look great Chris O!!

Two good shots of Vittorio Veneto, VV getting ready,

And the Veneto has had enough!

    Well thats it for now,
