I cant wait to just have a picture. If mt step-mom's computer issues continue though, you may only get visuals when i go to Rob's Battles or build sessions. Otherwise, it'll be all verbal

Boomer, while you are getting ready to cut, make the subdeck/deck and fit it to the hull. Also start laying out the insides. This is all good planning and will help get you farther along instead of just waiting. You can also mount motors, rudders, stuffing tubes, ect. Just keep in mind where your gun/gun magazines will be and how you will get to things. All this stuff is important and "time consuming". Ask if you have any questions as I am sure somebody has encountered it before.

Well, i am going to be getting the hardware kit from BC around xmas, and i dont have any money right now, so taping it up and then cutting out the windows will have to do until i can get some more money.

Start looking for things to make your boat out of. you will be amazed how many household item get glued to or stuck inside your boat.

So true. Popsicle sticks, paint sticks, foam.... yep. I used a cleaned out pitstick container as a funnel when building Shinano. Don't know if John left it on when I sold it to him... but you never know what you'll use. It saves money too.

So that's why the Axis stink? Sorry couldn't help it. Actually the amount of odds and sods that show up in the structure can be pretty amazing. Now the question will be whether he will want to put n scale figures on the boat.

actually, by boat will be very, very plain, i dont have enough money or time, (or skill) to do all that detailed modeling just yet.

Hey Boomer that just makes your boat easy to maintain. When I got into this hobby I was as told as long as it looks right 10 feet out in the water, that is good enough. The little extras are nice and pretty but you are building a ship of war.
