I actually thought of a lot of what you suggested. We want to try and get Ryan/Drachinifel to do a little 20 second shout out to @Beaver on YouTube. But this is where the hobby as a whole needs to coordinate because we don't want to bombard these individuals with requests for shout outs. And because beaver is a fast gun captain, his YouTube channel is devoted to his very well edited and filmed videos of fast gun battles.
Is it worth it to get a rule proposal in for a PR coordinator on the E Board? I agree with @bsgkid117 this needs to be a concise and targeted effort or we risk reducing the effectiveness.
YouTube is absolutely the best advertising option. Can't forget good keywords when uploading. Which sometimes includes keywords that aren't related but are very popular "at that moment"/trending (gets more eyes on it). Another smaller (local) option is for club members to have vinyl stickers on their vehicles (including scannable QR codes) that would direct people to this site OR their specific club OR various YT channels that have great content about this stuff. Instagram (IG) is also super popular, its great for short clips to kick-up interest. All sorts of people have their "Insta handle" stickers on the windows of their vehicles. IDK, if there is already an IG account for this site or not but there should be. Example: IG@rcwarshipcombat.com (followed by a QR code at the end)
Yeah no, I don't click bait. I will most times sensationalize what happens in the video for eye catching appeal but not click bait. Never have and never will.
Oh you mean tags. Yeah I have like 40 some tags I add to every video but even per YouTube they're not like having a good title. What do you mean try again?
Yes, tags! (It's been a awhile since I've uploaded anything to YT) I'm telling you, next time you upload something put a trending word or two in the TAGS/keywords section before you upload. It absolutely makes a difference and always, always MAX-out that tags section. *thumbs-up* P.S.-I'm pretty sure there are apps that'll even show you how much engagement each keyword/tag bring to your video and can therefore be changed accordingly.
