I am considering trying to convert the HMS Glorious class battlecruiser that I picked up from Mike D. into the HMS Furious aircraft-carrier.
It appears that the lengths are pretty close.
The beam is 3' wider for the A/C.
But does anyone know how much different the bulges may have been?
    Thanks.

Glorious and Furious were not twins to begin with. Furious even as a light BC was beamier. Why not convert it to Glorious as a CV?

The numbers that I could find tells me that the beam changed quite a bit from the BC versions (Glorious), to the aircraft-carrier versions.
Like 8-9 feet or so added.

I think you are right that they were bulged, but as to where I am not sure. I know the folks at Strike sell a Furious hull (grrr!!!!) perhaps they could say. I am sure von Tugboat probably has plans for the Furious maybe he knows.

    Thanks for the replies.
I am not certain that the conversion will take place.
But it certainly is an interesting thought.
