Not a warship but still a model boat.

A little fathers day present for myself. This is a 1:8 scale model of a work skiff I designed for running trot lines. If your familiar with Phil Bolger's work, you may notice this as a modification of his 18' work skiff. I lengthened the design to 19.5' and raised the gunwales so you can comfortably lean on them. My stepson and I are planning on building a full size version. The model is being built pretty much like a full sized version would be using the "Lumberyard Skiff" method.

    Hope you enjoy.
