Well, I ended up ripping the subdeck off and throwing it away. Something was just off with it. All the ribs lined up perfect with each other, but the subdeck just wouln't line up right no matter what I tried. I would have had another cut out and on there by now, but my cute little puppy chew the printer cord in half and ate the copies of the plans for the subdeck I had printed out. A quick trip to best buy and I am now printing out new pages and should have it cut out and ready to go together tomorrow. I am REALLY hoping to have this thing sheeted this weekend.

It's a good thing lab puppies are the cutest thing ever made... she's still alive for that reason and that reason only.

How can you stay mad at that? You can't. There is no way.

OK, it has taken me a while, but I finaly got the subdeck issue fixed after nearly burning the whole ship in the wood stove. I ended up having to just take the hull and ribs off the board they were built on and turning it upside down on a paper and just tracing out the size and shape the subdeck needed to be. The plans did not match the ribs AT ALL. I have started sheeting it and it's looking pretty nice so far. It's much skinner then the Fletchers, although a little taller up front. I test fit some internals and I think it will all go together nicely.

I'll have some updated pictures this weekend, hoping to have the hull 99% done this weekend and be able to start fitting the TT tubes and motors and such and HOPEFULLY have Danielle and working ship this year. I have so many ship projects that I want to do and just not enough time/money/motivation to get them all done right now.
