Guys, A long time ago I purchased and assembled a DKM Scharnhorst model from Battlers Connection. It came with turrets like this http://battlersconnection.com/dkm-scharnhorst-triple-main-turret/. The plans that came with the ship and numerous pictures show it as having had turrets with the range finder wings like this http://www.maritimequest.com/warshi...ips/scharnhorst/07_scharnhorst_sea_trials.jpg. I've recently started working on my ship again and I'd like some more scale looking turrets with the range finder wings (what are those actually called?). Battlers Connection has these http://battlersconnection.com/dkm-deutchland-main-turret-resin/ for the Deutchland but says they are also suitable for the Scharhorst. Strike Models also has Grey Wolf also has Lutzow turrets http://www.greywolfsquadron.com/images/GrafSpeeTurretTriple.JPG that look like they might be the same turrets. Are any of the above options the correct turrets for the Scharnhorst, or are there any other options out there? I'm wanting correct size with the range finder wings. Thanks, Jim
The grey wolf turrets sold by both Battlers Connection and strike are the correct ones. The class used the same turrets as the Deutschland class.
